Product: Suvadu -- cross-agent memory service for AI tools Website: suvadu.aisforapp.com Contact: hello@aisforapp.comThese Terms and Conditions for A is for App ("we", "us", or "our") describe the terms under which you may use our product Suvadu, a cross-agent memory service for AI tools that runs in your own Google Cloud account.
SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS
This summary provides key points from our Terms and Conditions. You can find out more details about any of these topics by clicking the link following each key point, or by using our table of contents below.
- Suvadu runs in your own Google Cloud account. Your memories live in storage you own and control, not on our servers. We never read their contents. Managing a deployment does require us to hold a Google credential for your account — see the Privacy Notice. Read more
- Installation of Suvadu constitutes acceptance of these terms. By downloading, installing, or using Suvadu, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software. Read more
- Suvadu is in beta. It works, and we support it, but it is young enough that features and behaviour can change. Beta ends at version 1.0. Read more
- Suvadu can get it wrong, and so can the AI reading it. It may recall the wrong thing, miss something, or surface a note that is out of date — and even when it recalls correctly, the AI tool reading that memory can still misread it. Do not rely on Suvadu as the sole store of critical information. Read more
- Suvadu uses a one-time perpetual licence, not a subscription. The Pro tier
is a single purchase that never expires and covers up to three deployments at
once. The signature is checked by your own deployment; the licence itself is
issued by us and delivered over the network. Read more
- We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 30 days for a full refund. Read more
- Your data belongs to you. All memories and data you store in Suvadu are yours. We claim no rights over anything you store. Read more
- Our liability is capped at the price you paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Read more
- These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. Nothing excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Read more

1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Suvadu, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, available at
suvadu.aisforapp.com/terms. If you do notagree, do not install or use the software.
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle information about
you. It is referenced, not incorporated: it is a statement of what we do,
not a term you agree to, and it says so itself. Nothing in it adds an
obligation on you.
Installation of Suvadu constitutes acceptance of these terms. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your") and
A is for App ("we", "us", "our"), a business operating in Australia and
registered for GST. Our ABN is available on request — email us and we will send
it. Note that your purchase receipt is issued by LemonSqueezy as merchant of
record, so it carries their details rather than ours.
2. What Is Suvadu?
Suvadu is a memory service for AI assistants, giving tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Copilot a shared long-term memory. It is deployed into your own Google Cloud project — the server, the storage and the bill are yours. We never read what it holds. We do hold a Google credential while you are signed in to the Manage page, which is what lets us show you its status and change its settings; the Privacy Notice sets out exactly what that credential can do.
Suvadu is beta software. It works and it is supported, but it is young:features may change, behaviour may change, and you should expect the occasional
rough edge. Beta ends at version 1.0.
That date is also what moves the price. Pro is $49 during beta and $99 from 1.0
onward — but if you bought at $49, it stays $49. The increase never reaches
back to a purchase already made, for the reason set out in
§6: what you bought is a perpetual licence, nota subscription we can reprice.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Intellectual Property
Suvadu, its code, design, documentation, and branding are owned by A is for App. "Suvadu" and "A is for App" are trading names of A is for App.
Your Data Ownership
Your memories and data belong to you. We claim no rights over anything you store in Suvadu.
4. Licence to Use
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to deploy and use Suvadu, subject to the tier you are using (Free, Pro, or Cloud).
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Suvadu binary, except to the extent permitted by applicable law (including the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth)).
- Redistribute, sublicence, or resell Suvadu or any licence key.
- Use Suvadu to build a competing product or service.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks in the software.
- Use Suvadu in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
5. Free Tier
The Free tier is available at no cost. Two limits apply, and neither one stops
you reading what you have already saved:
- 50 traces stored. Above this, new traces are not saved. Session summaries
that Suvadu writes on your behalf do not count toward it.
- 50 recalls in any rolling 24 hours. Not "per day" — a rolling window.
deployment is read-only: everything you have stored stays readable, within the
50-per-24-hours allowance, for as long as the deployment exists. Reaching a limit never
takes away access to what is already stored.
Pro removes both.
These figures are sent to your deployment rather than fixed in this document,
so the Manage page always shows the limits actually in force. We may change them
and will communicate changes through our release notes.
6. Pro Tier -- Perpetual Licence
The Pro tier removes all usage limits. It is a one-time purchase of a perpetual licence.
- Perpetual: Your licence does not expire. This is a one-time purchase, not
a subscription, and there is nothing to renew.
- Up to three deployments at once. Enough for, say, a work instance and a
personal one. Deleting a deployment frees its slot 24 hours later.
- Validated locally, delivered over the network. The signature on your
licence is checked by your own deployment using Ed25519 — that part needs no
server. But the licence itself is issued by us and delivered to your
deployment, and Suvadu checks in with us when it starts. So a connection is
required to activate, and to learn that a licence has been withdrawn.
- Revocable in defined circumstances. We can withdraw a licence, and we
will do so if you take a refund or on material breach of these terms. We do
not withdraw licences otherwise, except where required by law.
- Reclaiming a slot does not affect your licence. If your three deployment
slots are all held — including by deployments you can no longer reach — you
can reclaim them. That releases every slot except the one you are using, at
your request. Your licence is untouched; it is a way out of being capped, not
a penalty. This clause previously listed reclaiming among the circumstances in
which we withdraw a licence, which was the opposite of what it does.
- Per-user: Your licence is for one person. You may use it for personal and
work purposes both — that is what the three deployments are for — but it may
not be shared across a team.
- Non-transferable: You may not transfer, sell, or share your licence key
with another person.
These clauses were corrected on 5 September 2026 — see what changed.
Support for Cloud purchases
Cloud purchases include 12 months of support from the date of purchase.
After that your deployment keeps running and your licence remains valid — we
simply stop being on call. Renewal is optional.
7. Cloud
Cloud is how Suvadu is delivered. Under this model:
- We deploy Suvadu into your own Google Cloud account, using Google sign-in.
- Your memories are stored in that account, which you own and control. We never
read their contents.
- Managing a deployment requires ongoing access. When you are signed in to
the Manage page we hold a Google credential for your account so we can read
your deployment's status, change its settings, and delete it when you ask.
That credential is encrypted, and it is deleted when you sign out, or after 24
hours without use — an idle timer, not a maximum age. Our Privacy Notice sets out exactly what it
can do.
- You are responsible for your Google Cloud account and its costs. Suvadu's
own usage is typically a few dollars a month or less, but the account is yours
and the bill comes to you. Google Cloud's terms apply to your use of their
infrastructure.
- Deleting a deployment deletes the Google Cloud project — the server, the
storage, every trace, and every secret. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
8. Payments, Pricing, and Refunds
Payments
- All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, who act as our **merchant of
record**. That means LemonSqueezy is the seller in the transaction, handles
tax, and issues your receipt.
- All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy. By making a purchase, you also agree to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service.
- We do not store your credit card details. LemonSqueezy handles all payment data under PCI-DSS compliance.
Pricing
- Prices are stated in US dollars unless otherwise indicated.
- Tax is calculated and shown at checkout. Because LemonSqueezy is the
merchant of record, they assess any GST, VAT or sales tax that applies where
you are, add it at checkout, and issue your receipt. The price you confirm is
the price you pay — check the checkout total rather than the listed figure if
your jurisdiction adds tax.
- We reserve the right to change pricing for future purchases. Price changes do not affect licences already purchased.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
- We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with Suvadu for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase at hello@aisforapp.com for a full refund.
- After 30 days, purchases are non-refundable (except as required by Australian Consumer Law -- see Australian Consumer Law).
- A refund withdraws the licence. Your deployment returns to the Free tier
and we delete nothing — everything you saved stays where it is, in your
own Google Cloud project, and stays readable. The free-tier limits apply
again: no new traces above the cap, and 50 recalls in any rolling 24 hours.
Neither takes away what you already have.
Until 11 October 2026 this clause carried a warning that recall stopped
entirely above twice the cap, and said outright that *"everything stays
readable" would not have been* a promise we could keep. It is now, so we make
it. See what changed.
9. Your Responsibilities
By using Suvadu, you agree that:
- You are responsible for your data. Your memories live in your own Google Cloud project. You are responsible for backups, and we cannot recover anything you delete — deleting the project destroys everything in it.
- You are responsible for the content you store. Do not store illegal content, passwords, API keys, private cryptographic keys, or other sensitive credentials in Suvadu.
- You are responsible for your AI tools. Suvadu provides memory to AI assistants. We are not responsible for how those AI tools use, interpret, or act on the memories Suvadu provides.
- You will not misuse the software. You will not use Suvadu for any unlawful purpose, to infringe on the rights of others, or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the software.
- You will comply with applicable laws. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Suvadu complies with all laws applicable to you, including data protection laws if you store personal data about others.
10. Prohibited Activities
You may not access or use Suvadu for any purpose other than that for which we
make it available. Your licence is for one person — personal and work use both
— and may not be shared across a team or resold.
As a user, you agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Suvadu binary, except to the extent permitted by applicable law (including the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth)).
- Redistribute, sublicence, resell, or share Suvadu or any licence key.
- Use Suvadu to build a competing product or service.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks in the software.
- Use Suvadu for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to bypass or circumvent any licence validation or usage limits.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on Suvadu or the networks or services connected thereto.
- Use any automated system, including scripts, bots, or scrapers, to access Suvadu in a manner that sends more requests than a human can reasonably produce.
- Store illegal content, content that infringes on the rights of others, or content that you do not have the right to store.
- Abuse the 30-day refund policy (for example, by repeatedly purchasing and requesting refunds while continuing to use the software).
11. Third-Party AI Tools
Suvadu is designed to work with third-party AI tools including (but not limited to) Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot. Important points:
- We are not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, GitHub, or any other AI tool provider.
- We are not responsible for the behaviour, output, or availability of third-party AI tools.
- We do not control how AI tools use the memory data Suvadu provides to them within a conversation.
- Changes to third-party AI tools (such as MCP protocol changes, deprecations, or access restrictions) may affect Suvadu's functionality. We will endeavour to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee it.
12. Retrieval Accuracy and Limitations
Suvadu can get it wrong. It may recall the wrong thing, miss something, orsurface a note that is out of date.
And even when Suvadu is right, the AI reading it can still be wrong. A toolgiven a correct memory can misread it, apply it to the wrong situation, or state
it back to you with more confidence than it deserves. That is a limitation of
the AI tool, not of the memory — but the result reaches you the same way, so we
name it here rather than leave it between the two.
Check anything that matters.
The rest of this section sets out the same limits in detail. **Please read it
carefully.**
Suvadu uses semantic search and AI embedding models to store and recall memories. Retrieval is NOT 100% accurate. By using Suvadu, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Search results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or miss relevant memories. Semantic search is probabilistic, not deterministic.
- Stored information may not be recalled when expected. The presence of a memory in storage does not guarantee it will be returned for every relevant query.
- Semantic similarity matching may return irrelevant results. The embedding model may associate unrelated concepts.
- You accept these limitations as inherent to the technology. These are characteristics of all semantic search systems, not defects in Suvadu.
- You should not rely on Suvadu as the sole store of critical information. Always maintain independent records for important, time-sensitive, or safety-critical data.
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from inaccurate or incomplete retrieval. This includes but is not limited to decisions made based on recalled information, missed information, or incorrectly associated information.
The quality of recall depends on how information was stored, the embedding model's capabilities, and the nature of the query. Suvadu is a best-effort semantic memory system, not a database with guaranteed retrieval.
13. No Professional Advice
Suvadu is a memory tool, not an advisory service. Information stored in and recalled from Suvadu does not constitute and should not be treated as:
- Professional advice of any kind
- Legal advice or legal information
- Medical or health advice
- Financial, investment, or tax advice
- Any other form of expert or specialist advice
You should not rely on information recalled from Suvadu as a substitute for independent professional judgement. Always seek qualified professional advice for matters affecting your health, finances, legal rights, or other important decisions.
We are not responsible for decisions you make, or actions you take or fail to take, based on information recalled from Suvadu.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (and subject to Section 16: Australian Consumer Law):Suvadu is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Any warranty that Suvadu will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with any particular software or hardware.
- Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-assisted recall.
- Any warranty that the software will meet your particular requirements.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (and subject to Section 16: Australian Consumer Law):- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss of opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use Suvadu.
- **Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related
to Suvadu shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for your Suvadu
licence, or AUD $50.** The floor is deliberate: a cap of zero for free-tier
users is a total exclusion wearing a cap's clothing, and a court is entitled
to read it that way.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
16. Australian Consumer Law
Suvadu comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement. For goods and services that are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use or consumption, our liability for failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to:
- In the case of goods: replacement of the goods, supply of equivalent goods, or payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods.
- In the case of services: supplying the services again, or payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
If you believe we have failed to meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us at hello@aisforapp.com.
17. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify us
against claims, damages, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising
from:
- Your breach of these terms.
- Content you store that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Your breach of any applicable law or regulation.
**This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our breach of these
terms, our negligence, or our failure to comply with a consumer guarantee.**
Ordinary, compliant use of Suvadu triggers no indemnity. The previous version of
this clause was triggered by *"your use of Suvadu"*, which would have made you
indemnify us for claims caused by our own defect — see the changelog.
18. Termination
How to Stop Using Suvadu
- Free tier: You may stop at any time by deleting your deployment from the Manage page, which removes the Google Cloud project and everything in it.
- Pro tier: Your perpetual licence does not expire. However, we may terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms (for example, by redistributing the software or licence keys). Termination means we withdraw the licence — your deployment returns to the free tier — and you lose access to future updates, support and purchases. Nothing you have stored is deleted, and your Google Cloud project remains yours.
Effect of Termination
Your data remains in your own Google Cloud project. Outside a signed-in Manage
session we hold no credential that can reach it. While you are signed in we do,
and deleting a deployment through Manage deletes that project and everything in
it — that is the one deletion we can perform, and only when you ask for it.
Survival
Sections 3 (Intellectual Property Rights), 12 (Retrieval Accuracy and Limitations), 13 (No Professional Advice), 14 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 15 (Limitation of Liability), 16 (Australian Consumer Law), 17 (Indemnification), and 21 (Governing Law and Disputes) survive termination of these terms.
19. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, pandemics, or epidemics.
- Acts of government, war, terrorism, or civil unrest.
- Power failures, internet outages, or telecommunications failures.
- Failures of third-party services, including Google Cloud Platform, AI client providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, GitHub), hosting providers, or payment processors.
- Cyberattacks, distributed denial-of-service attacks, or other security incidents affecting third-party infrastructure.
- Any other event commonly understood as force majeure.
This applies only to the extent the failure was beyond our reasonable control
and could not have been avoided by reasonable precautions, including reasonable
redundancy. A routine outage at a provider we chose is not a force majeure event
merely because we chose them.
The affected party's obligations are suspended for the duration of the event.
20. Export Controls
Suvadu uses Ed25519 cryptographic signatures for licence validation. Cryptographic software may be subject to export controls and import restrictions in certain jurisdictions.
By using Suvadu, you represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in a country subject to a comprehensive trade embargo.
- You are not on any applicable government restricted party list.
- You will comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including the Australian Defence Trade Controls Act 2012 (Cth) and the Wassenaar Arrangement where applicable.
- You will not use, export, or re-export Suvadu in violation of any applicable export restrictions.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Suvadu shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
Nothing in these terms:
- Excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Prevents you from making a complaint to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or a relevant state or territory consumer protection agency.
- Prevents you from taking action in a court or tribunal in the jurisdiction where you reside, where permitted by law.
22. Privacy Policy
Your use of Suvadu is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect (very little) and what data we never collect (nearly everything).
Key points:
- All memories stay in your own Google Cloud project. No Manage operation returns their contents, and we never read them.
- If you enable usage analytics, we receive counts and versions — never memory content or what you asked. They are pseudonymous rather than anonymous. The full field list is in the Privacy Notice and its technical detail page.
- Payments are handled by LemonSqueezy under their own privacy policy.
For full details, read the Suvadu Privacy Notice.
23. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these terms. What that means depends on whether you have already
bought a licence.
- For future purchases, the terms in force at the time of purchase apply.
- For a licence you have already bought, we will only make changes that do
not reduce your rights under it — unless the law requires the change, in
which case we will say so in both the changelog entry and the email, and the
refund window below still opens. You paid once for a perpetual licence; we do
not treat your continued use as agreement to a worse bargain.
- Where a change does affect existing customers, we will email the address
attached to your purchase, and you may take a full refund within 30 days of
that email even if the original 30 days has passed.
- Every change is listed at What changed, with the
wording it replaced.
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top.
changes are listed at What changed. Nothing has been
paid, so there is no bargain to protect — but we will still not apply a change
retrospectively to something you have already done.
24. Assignment
You may not transfer these terms or your licence to anyone else.
We may transfer them — by assignment or novation — to a related company orto whoever acquires this business, **provided your rights under these terms are
not reduced**. We will tell you when it happens. You agree in advance to that
novation, so that the licence you bought and the support that comes with it
continue against the new entity rather than lapsing.
This clause exists because A is for App is a sole trader today and intends to
incorporate. Without it, every perpetual licence and support promise sold before
incorporation stays personally with the owner: the benefits could be assigned,
but the obligations could not, and each customer would have to be novated one at
a time. Adding this before the first sale costs nothing; adding it afterwards
costs a signature from every customer.
25. Severability and Waiver
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if it cannot be modified, it will be severed. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
No failure or delay by us in exercising any right under these terms constitutes a waiver of that right. A waiver of any right or provision will be effective only if in writing and signed by us, and will apply only to the specific instance for which it is given.
26. Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your
use of Suvadu, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings. Our Privacy
Notice is referenced by these terms but is not part of the agreement — see §1.
**Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability for misleading or
deceptive conduct, or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.** A
term cannot contract out of section 18 of the Australian Consumer Law, and this clause does not try to.
